The Origins of AUJC

The Hut behind the Conservatorium where the Adelaide University Judo Club was founded in 1956 by Jo and where Jackie started in 1961. She has clear and happy memories of going up those wooden steps for judo classes.

The Hut was where the Physical Education Department was located and it was demolished in about 1964.
