Adelaide University Judo Club is delivering a face-to-face Train-the-Trainer program in Adelaide for judo coaches in Australia and Overseas.
The program will run as follows :
Saturday 26th September: 9.00am - 11.00am (Session 1 - program outline and working with older adults)
Saturday 26th September: 11.15am - 1.15pm (Session 2 - introducing modified ukemi for older adults)
1.30pm - 3.00pm (option to see sport judo ukemi and/or participate in randori)
Sunday 27th September: 9.30am - 12.30pm (Session 3 - micro-progression - modified ukemi in 4 directions)
Sunday 27th September: 1.00pm - 3.00pm (Session 4 - practice, putting it together and assessment)
Post course activity: 3.00pm - 4.00pm Implementation and Mentoring Workshop - Guest Greg Wiltshire
Once you have registered and paid for the course, additional on-line content to be reviewed prior to the Workshop, as pre-work for Session 1 & 2, will be forwarded to you. At the course you will receive a hard-copy manual and worksheets as well as access to the series of training videos.
Assessment – practical and questionnaire will be conducted at the beginning and end of the sessions.
Once a participant has completed the training and assessment, they are issued with a Certificate by AUJC, endorsed by Judo Australia for CAF (Coaching Acreditation Framework) and licensed to deliver the DBfL program at their dojo or other venue
Note: The price includes platform transaction fee of $11.84 and $13.88, for an IJF-affiliated judo coach and non-IJF judo coach respectively.
