Astrid Machulik Rokudan from Berlin is visiting Adelaide again in 2026 to assist our judoka to improve their performance of Kata for gradings and competitions. This will be the 11^th Kata course that she has delivered in Adelaide.

Astrid is a Kata specialist who has visited and trained at the Kodokan for many years. She holds diplomas from the Kodokan in 7 kata: Nage no Kata, Katame no Kata, Kodokan Goshin Jutsu, Kime no Kata, Ju no Kata, Itsutsu no Kata and Koshiki no Kata.

Astrid is also an accomplished Shiai competitor who won Gold at the 2025 World Veteran's Championships.

Friday 10^th April        4.00 pm – 6.00 pm Ju no Kata 
                                  6.00 pm – 8.00 pm   Itsutsu no Kata

Saturday 11^th April   9.00 am – 3.00 pm     Nage no Kata
                                  4.00 pm - 6.00 pm    Koshiki no Kata
Sunday 12^th April      9.00 am – 1.00 pm     Katame no Kata
                                   1.30 pm – 5.00 pm    Kime-no-Kata

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night dinner with Astrid will be organised closer to the day, please indicate your interest so a suitable venue can be booked
