Astrid Machulik Rokudan from Berlin is visiting Adelaide again in 2025 to assist our judoka to improve their performance of Kata for gradings and competitions. This will be the 9th Kata course that she has delivered in Adelaide.
Astrid is a Kata specialist who has visited and trained at the Kodokan for many years. She holds diplomas from the Kodokan in 7 kata: Nage no Kata, Katame no Kata, Kodokan Goshin Jutsu, Kime no Kata, Ju no Kata, Itsutsu no Kata and Koshiki no Kata.
Astrid is also an accomplished Shiai competitor who medals regularly at International competitions.
2025 Seminar Schedule
Friday 15th August 4.00 pm – 8.00 pm Ju noKata
Saturday 16th August 10.00 am – 5.00 pm Nage no Kata
Sunday 17th August 9.00 am – 1.00 pm Katame no Kata
1.30 pm – 5.00 pm Kime-no-Kata
(Friday morning - Special requests for additional kata or 1:1 training will be considered)
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
