Registration & Booking:

To save time, and reduce paperwork we would request you:
a)  do our "once-off" register  selecting option “Member - Temporary”, or an alternate option that fits your situation  e.g. AU Student,  and
b) book and pay for a session before you arrive.

Age/Experience:

The average age is about 24, ranging from absolute beginners, ex-gymnasts just having a re-learn/swing, and those taking it a little more seriously hoping to enter various events including General Gym Challenges, Masters Events (offered throughout Australia), or InterClub, State and National competitions. So you should fit in :-)
Our members are approx. 50% of students and the rest are “adults” from everywhere, a great mix of people with all types of experiences and likes (dance, acro, cross-fit).

Bring:

If Hot, a water bottle and towel.
a friend if you like, so you can laugh at each other! .. but that’s not necessary since likely there will be other 1st timers turning up.

What Do People Wear:

have a look at our FB Group or Page or Instagram, and you’ll see people wear anything and everything, not too baggy or too many pockets that might get caught on apparatus, ranging from club Leo's, singlets to anything comfortable to do reasonable workout.
Most people train in bare feet (not as slippery on apparatus etc.)

Commitment & Coaching:

You can turn up as often or as infrequently as you like .. Adult life sometimes gets in the way!! We try to provide coaching at a level and intensity that suits individuals' needs on the night.
Beginners get more attention to teach basic skills and an awareness of safety. Most people gravitate to a small group of roughly their ability or enthusiasm on the night. There are also a significant number of athletes who are qualified coaches (attending for their playtime), and are happy to provide tips if individuals look receptive.

Session Fees:                           $17 or $18  (or cheaper "Bulk Booking" options)
.... please book and pay via our portal. You can use a discount code "CAT" when booking your 1st session, which will make this  1st session a FREE "Come And Try" session.
