Athletics North Queensland in collaboration with Oceania Athletics are pleased to announce the Cairns Invitational Meet at Barlow Park Cairns. This meet has a national permit status. 

With the cancellation of the Oceania Area Athletics Championships, Oceania Athletics has seen it as essential to provide opportunities for athletes to qualify and prepare for the Olympic Games. These events will offer a range of options to score higher World Athletics ranking points, an essential component for World Rankings and entry into international championships events and the Olympic Games.
