Welcome to the 2026 Hockey Season!
The committee would like to share a few updates regarding fees and registrations for the upcoming season.
1. Junior 1/2 and 3/4 Team Fees
This year, a small seasonal fee of $25 per child has been introduced for Junior 1/2 and 3/4 teams.
Associates Hockey Club always strives to keep costs as low as possible for families. However, due to an increase in nomination fees from the Bunbury Hockey Association, it has become necessary to introduce this small fee to help cover part of these costs.
2. Minimum Upfront Payment at Registration (Juniors & Seniors)
Last year, seniors were required to pay an upfront fee at registration as the club must now pay association nomination fees much earlier than in previous years. To help maintain positive cash flow and meet these earlier financial commitments, an upfront payment will be required at registration for both juniors and seniors.
For the 2026 season, the upfront payments will be:
· Seniors: $100
· Juniors: $25 (This payment will be deducted from the total of Junior fees payable)
Any kids who pay through KidSports vouchers will have their upfront payment reimbursed once the club has received the payment via KidSports.
There has been no increase to fees from last season, with the exception of the introduction of a $25 fee for Junior 1/2 and 3/4 teams. The main change for 2026 is the timing of payments.

Please note: The Mandatory Hockey Australia Registration Levy is paid directly to Hockey Australia.The levy ensures all participants are covered by personal accident insurance for official matches, training, and travel. It also covers administrative expenses for Hockey Australia and State/Territory associations.
