Angels Softball Club are holding a Softball Summer Camp, for two days, from January 22-23rd 2025, from 9am - 2pm. This event is for returning Angels junior players, and new participants wanting to try a new sport in 2025!
The event will run Wednesday 22nd - Thursday 23rd January from 9am - 2pm at the Mackay Softball grounds at Theo Hansen Park on Beaconsfield Road. Morning Tea & Lunch supplied - please note any dietary requirements when registering so catering can be covered. After 2pm there will be supervision for children of working parents/guardians until 5pm (please advise in registration).
The children will learn softball skills such as throwing, batting, fielding, base running as well as playing some games and learning the rules of Softball.
The Angels Softball Summer Camp leads perfectly into the Mackay Softball season starting in March 2025 for Juniors and April 2025 for Seniors. This is a great opportunity for the children to try before you buy. All new kids to the sport will receive a glove to keep but, we have a limited number to give away, so register quick before they run out.
We encourage juniors that have already played Softball with Angels to also attend as their knowledge and game sense will help all the new players to grow their confidence. Parents/guardians of existing Angels juniors, please register using your RevSport login that you would have received from last season.
