Welcome to Albany Athletics Club

The proud home of Albany Athletics and Albany Little Athletics.

Albany Athletics Club has been operating since 1972; with Albany Little Athletics joining the club in 2025 to create one club for athletics in Albany.  

We are a running and athletics community for everyone. Guided by four core values – welcoming, inclusive, proud, and cooperative – we strive to build a sense of belonging and community where people of all ages and abilities can come and enjoy our sport.

We cater for Little Athletes (U7-U12), Junior Athletes (U13-U18) and Senior Athletes (18+), offering a summer Track & Field program that runs from October to March each year. Our Saturday morning competition includes most events*, and is aligned with Australian Athletics and Athletics West programs. 

Albany Athletics Club is located on Menang Noongar Country in Albany on the beautiful south coast of Western Australia. We are situated at the Mike Biddulph Athletics Ground on the corner of North Road and Sanford Road, Albany.

We are affiliated with Athletics West and work with Masters Athletics WA,  Albany Athletic Group, City of Albany, running clubs such as Denmark Running Club and Perth Frontrunners, local families, property and farmland owners, and our generous sponsors.

We are a not-for-profit sporting organisation of passionate volunteers promoting athletics and running in the community.

*We do not offer pole vault, steeplechase, hammer throw or walks as part of our Saturday morning events.
