Bossley Park High School is a large co-educational high school proudly serving the South Western Sydney community since 1988. There are 1400 students in the school, 82% of the student population come from a language background or dialect other than English, 62% of students are learning English as an additional language and 10% of students are from a refugee background. The major cultural groups are Arabic, Spanish, Assyrian, Italian, Eastern European, and Southeast Asian backgrounds. The school has a Special Education Unit catering to students with physical and/or intellectual disabilities..

Position: Football Program Head Coach

The Talented Football Program at Bossley Park High School has been in existence since 2003 and has been part of the school curriculum as a subject since 2008. The program has 150 players with 115 Boys and 35 girls.

The Head Coach of the Talented Football Program at Bossley Park High School will be required to facilitate the practical football sessions on a daily basis in conjunction with the qualified coaches within the PDHPE teaching staff. Further to this, they will be required to maintain, update and implement a 40 week periodised plan for 6 year groups (7-12), to develop and challenge student athletes and enhance the skill set of all footballers within the program.

The Head coach will be required to have a clear understanding of the needs of young people and how to nurture and develop elite student athletes, allowing all students to reach their potential.
