About Bankstown Basketball Association
Bankstown Basketball Stadium is an indoor sports centre catering for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and badminton. It is home to the Bankstown Bruins representative basketball team, and offers sports competitions and holiday training programs. Position Summary
The Referee Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational items involving officiating the game of basketball. Through strong interpersonal skills, organisational and mentoring attributes will encourage and promote the level of refereeing standards for BBA junior/ senior local and representative basketball program.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
• Minimum Association Advanced Referee
• Minimum Association Referee Instructor
• Knowledge of BNSW Referee and Technical Officials Pathway
• Rostering experience
• Experience in a Training environment (preparing and implementing training plans)
• Operations management experience necessary to manage and motivate staff
• Will have great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Valid Working with Children Check Certificate Desirable
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
Conditions of Employment
• The successful applicant will be required to complete a Working with Children Check
• Availability to work rostered hours across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
