Position: Junior Sport Assistant Coach

The school is currently looking for passionate sports coaches to work casually within the extensive and growing co-curricular sporting program. We are looking for experienced and qualified coaches with a strong focus on coaching quality and safety. Coaches will provide quality mentoring and coaching to enhance and develop students’ technical skills and game knowledge in order to reach their individual and team potential both as athletes and young people.

 

Roles and Responsibilities would include:
- Attending training sessions before (6:30am-8:30am) and after (3:00pm-5:30pm) school. During school terms

• Responsible for roll marking and supervising parent pick up
• Equipment preparation
• Recording of injuries and incidents in line with school requirements
• Provide first aid
• Some data entry and administrative tasks 

  All applicants are legally required to have a current Working with Children Check for Paid Employment. Must be over 18 years and have:

• Current first aid qualification
• Previous coaching experience with youth teams
• Strong knowledge of skills, technique, and drills in the relevant sport
• Relevant coaching accreditation is an advantage
