The school is currently looking for passionate sports coaches to work casually within the extensive and growing co-curricular sporting program. We are looking for experienced and qualified coaches with a strong focus on coaching quality and safety. Coaches will provide quality mentoring and coaching to enhance and develop students’ technical skills and game knowledge in order to reach their individual and team potential both as athletes and young people.
Touch Football Coach - Primary
We are looking for coaches with strong knowledge of the rules, technical skills, and drills to assist in preparing our girls in Year 3 - 6 to enter IPSHA Saturday sports competition.
During Term 2, Touch coaches will be required to work on Monday afternoons from 3pm - 5:30pm. For the right candidate, there will also be coaching opportunities such as weekly training sessions and Saturday games during Term 3, as well as opportunities with the Senior School IGSSA Touch football program in Term 4.
Roles and Responsibilities would include:
- Attending training sessions before (6:30am-8:30am) and after (3:00pm-5:30pm) school. During school terms
Responsible for roll marking and supervising parent pick up
Equipment preparation
Recording of injuries and incidents in line with school requirements
Provide first aid
Some data entry and administrative tasks
