An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Events Executive to join the team at ActiveXchange - a multi award winning, passionate and rapidly expanding data technology company based in Sydney.

Our software is used by planners, administrators, managers, business owners, consultants and executives across Australia and New Zealand. Now backed by federal government as part of their Accelerator Program, the SportsEye platform and related data and technology products and services continue to develop rapidly, helping to connect sports, government and venues as part of a shared digital eco-system. A global first!
With this at the forefront, the Marketing and Events Executive role has been created to support the Executive and Sales team deliver new leads and brand awareness by overseeing and managing the marketing calendar, creating and publishing content for ActiveXchange’s Academy program, and coordinating the exhibition and conference calendar across Australia and New Zealand.
You will be a good team player, working with specialist analysts, researchers, product experts and the Executive to achieve our objectives. You will also have the confidence to communicate directly with the sales and client success team and CEO.
The Candidate
• Working with the team to achieve the marketing objectives by contributing new ideas and helping to plan and execute marketing activities.
• Support Executive team create and continually improve our presentations and proposals for all products.
• Event research, planning, development, implementation on time and on budget.
• Events follow up, debrief and analysis.
• Content creation, including writing blogs, case studies, newsletters and social media.
• Generate and nurture new event leads and manage them within the CRM database.
• Project management of each event to ensure it is planned and executed well.
• Supplier and cost management.
• Contribution to budget planning, monitoring ongoing (and final) spend and delivering the best possible ROI for events
• Demonstrating our software products to prospects via mobile and PC at events
• Ability to assess the market and identify and articulate ActiveXchange values and benefits to a range of different stakeholders
• Research and enter awards for the company
Essential Skills and Experience
• 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Degree in Marketing or related field
• Strong understanding on how to run campaign programs, using data to segment audiences and ensure content is targeted and relevant (Campaign Monitor/ Salesforce preferable)
• Ability to generating reporting on campaigns, events and other marketing activity, using relevant datasets, and translating these into insight and continuous
improvement recommendations as part of an overall marketing and communication strategy (alongside the Exec Team)
• A track record of managing events/shows/conferences
• Experience in video production and social media (corporate)
• Effective task management
• Communication skills - telephone manner, email and face-to-face
• Experience using marketing and CRM software tools (Salesforce preferable)
• Understanding of the community sport, leisure and fitness landscape, interdependencies and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

Salary Range
$60,000 to $75,000 Package (including Super)
