In 2021 we will continue to strive to provide the best game day experience possible for our players and families when they compete and spectate at Blacktown Football Park. As such we are calling for expressions of interest for persons to undertake the role of Game Day Announcer.

The full scope, role and requirements can be obtained by emailing the General Manager at gm@bdsfa.com. In summary the role is to entertain and inform patrons at all home matches played at Blacktown Football Park and involves:

1. Playing music when games are not being played

2. Playing energetic music as players enter the field

3. Announcing the teams playing

4. Keeping the scoreboard up to date during the game

5. Announcing the team to score and goal scorers from both teams

6. Playing a music burst when Spartans/BDSFA score a goal (must create the bursts prior to game day)

7. Announcing the score and goal scorers at half time

8. Announcing the score and goal scorers at full time

The role is to be undertaken as a hobby, it is a paid position and successful applicants will be engaged as contracted suppliers.

There will be a pool of persons engaged to undertake the roles and they will be rostered to all BDSFA AYL & Spartans FC home games and at BDSFA events (Grand Final weekend etc) throughout the course of the season. Typically people will be rostered as follows:

• Saturday 8:00am to 3:00pm (4 games), 3:00pm to 9:00pm (3 games)
• Sunday 8:00am to 1:00pm (3 games), 1:00pm to 5:00pm (2 games)
