The Wests Tigers Rugby League Club is currently seeking students with a keen interest in sports coaching and analysis who are looking to carry out work placement. The student will gain experience across a range of tasks as they assist the coaching staff in preparation and activities for the 2021 season.
Key Areas of Responsibility:

Involvement in training and game day operations, including set up and running of training sessions

Video recording of activities for analysis and review by players and staff

Data reporting, survey and data collection as required
Plus additional tasks as required, as specified by coaching staff.
Key Relationships:
This position involves communication and building of relationships with team staff and players. All staff, players and volunteers/work placement students must read and agree to a club code of conduct and adhere to its protocol at all times.
Reporting:
This position reports directly to the assigned Team Coaching Staff and indirectly to the Elite Player Development & Pathways Manager.
Selection Criteria:
- Motivated team player who values a good work ethic
- Keen interest in Rugby League and women’s sport
- Strong communication skills, able to pick up instructions quickly or ask questions to ensure understanding
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently, completing tasks in a timely manner
Location and Hours of Work:
Teams train at Liverpool (Hillier Oval) and Concord (St Lukes) on weeknight evenings and games are played on weekends at various grounds across the greater Sydney area
