Wellington Phoenix FC is offering the exciting opportunity to work closely with the Football Analysis Department for the upcoming 2020-2021 season in Wollongong. Two roles exist for interns wanting to further their careers in analyst performance. The role/s include working closely with the Analysis department, working with the first team squad. Please note to be eligible for this role you must be currently or undertaken a relevant degree/course with the related subject material. Additionally, a love of football (or sport in general) would be a plus.
Key roles and responsibilities Analysis · Work alongside the Head Analyst for Home Matches · Code A-League matches live or post-match using SportsCode · Assist coaching staff in team-based and individual player analysis sessions when required Code training sessions during the week

Record and code match day Requirements of candidates Essential: · Excellent communication skills · Good IT skills (Mac & Windows) · Excellent time management and organisational skills · Exceptional standards and high attention to detail · Able to work on their own as well as part of a team Desirable: · Understanding and experience of Performance Analysis software such as HUDL or Sportscode · Knowledge of WPX and A-League environment
