About the role:
We are looking to hire two people on a casual basis with a passion for health & fitness for our Miriade Social distribution channels – “Mindful Morning Teas”& “Restore & Transform” as a starting point. You will need to work well independently and plan collaboratively sessions & content that can be adjusted to suit the needs of our audiences.
Job Specification - Sport, Dance, Nutrition, Fitness & Wellbeing Content Presenters/Producers
- Planning, researching, and writing their own scripts/prompts before filming or broadcast in conjunction with Series Producers
- Delivering information to the audience in a manner appropriate to the programme
- Acting as the host, introduce and interview guests and interact with audience applicable
- Story writing and content creation to be published to our website and distributed through our channels and partner channels.
- Contributing to copy and images for the design of online and print copy media and collateral to distribute throughout our community
- The development and engagement of social media platforms via a combination of LIVE streams, pre-recorded content and filmed “LIVE” content.
- Following detailed instructions from the production team to keep everything to plan whilst on air.
Reacting quickly and positively to any changes or challenges
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current sports/fitness related accreditation or working towards; and/or experience in dance and wellbeing roles; and/or passion for nutrition
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s license and own vehicle preferred
- Ability to ‘think on your feet’ and ad-lib or deviate from the script when necessary.
- a clear speaking voice
- Ability to work well with others in the production team and participants in the programme.
- Ability to get on and connect with people, young and old, from a wide variety of backgrounds.

- Flexible hours (however need to be committed to the time allocated for the duration of the engagement)
- Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications and starts with the Fitness Industry Award 2010 (last updated 1 July 2020)
