Position Title: Sporting School planning and support internship

Location: Sydney Olympic Park or remote

Working hours: Flexible (1 day per week)

Duration: 3-6 months (pending workflows in COVID-19 environment)

Today, Hockey NSW comprises 27 Associations and approximately 30,000 registered hockey players in regional and metropolitan NSW. The player base represents men, women, boys and girls ranging from five years of age in introductory programs to players aged over sixty five in Masters Programs. Responsibilities

 

Assist the Sporting School Engagement team at Hockey NSW with

• Developing and implementing the HNSW School Strategy
• Understanding and connecting the HNSW strategy to relevant programs and members
• The planning and delivery of the Sporting School or Gala Day
• The planning and development of the HNSW regional school event

What Hockey NSW is looking for

Hockey NSW are committed to providing an environment which progresses the development of both ACPE students and alumni. In the current work environment, the successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting if necessary and be an independent learner. Having the ability to show initiative and be a self-starter with programs and being able to work collaboratively with members and staff across the organisation will be beneficial. Hockey NSW are after an ACPE student or alumni who initiates questions and seeks answers.
