Employer Name: Fit Futures
Details: Fit Futures are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic PE / Primary teachers to run their PDHPE programs in Primary schools Sydney Wide from Term 3, 2020 onwards. All lesson plans, uniform, equipment, support and staff training provided. As a company, they run all parts of the PDHPE curriculum such as Athletics, Gymnastics, FMS/Ball Skills, Dance, Sports Specific and well being programs as well as in-class PDH lessons, for primary schools.
Locations: Opportunities for regular work, often on preferred days, and during school terms various areas including Mount Druitt, the Hills, Liverpool, Fairfield, Northern beaches, Hornsby, Eastern Suburbs, Ryde, Hunter and Bankstown areas. Work independently and as part of our team.
Roster: Successful applicants can work 1 to 5 days, 8.30am to 3.30pm and will be responsible for program delivery and assessment of the children each term, the programs and assessment criteria are provided.
Pay: $320 to $360 per day, Dependent on Experience
Essential criteria:
- DET number
- NESA Accreditation (Some positions require only NESA)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Anaphylaxis e-learning
- e-Emergency Care training
- Child protection awareness training
- Mandatory Annual Child Protection Training 2019/2020
- Work Health and Safety (WHS) Induction for Employees
- Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Fun, energetic, thoughtful and ambitious.
Preferred Experience: (not essential)
- Gymnastics/Athletics/FMS/Ball Skills teaching experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Level 1 or higher coaching accreditations in Gymnastics and Athletics particularly.
- Driver Licence and own transport (preferred)
