Social Media Manager

·  Balmain Tigers Australian Football Club

·  Lilyfield Road - Rozelle parklands

·  Balmain AFC is a growing AFL Club in Sydney's Inner West, competing in the Sydney AFL Competition. We serve the local community by providing a fun, engaging and community driven football club

·  Voluntary

·  ~ 10 hrs per week

·  Reporting to Balmain AFC Community Engagement Manager the Social Media Manager will be tasked with creating high quality content for our Social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. 

·  Strategy and planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with company goals, including both organic and paid campaigns.

·  Content creation: Create, edit, and schedule engaging content, such as text, images, and videos, for various social media platforms.

·  Community management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions from followers to foster brand relationships and provide customer service.

·  Performance analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data to understand what content performs best, and use these insights to improve future strategies.

·  Trend monitoring: Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand's presence remains relevant.

·  Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as Football Operations, Coaches, and community teams, to ensure a consistent brand message and collaborate on integrated campaigns. 

Selection criteria

·  Knowledge of current social media trends (Essential)

·  Experience using Canva (Essential)

·  Experience in website updates (desirable)

·  Can do attitude (desirable)
