Western Sydney Wanderers FC are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated casual football coaches to work in our Community Department.
The key role of the Community Coach is to provide quality coaching, under the Western Sydney Wanderers FC coaching curriculum, to children across all ages, genders and ability levels within the Greater Western Sydney region.
Key responsibilities
Provide inclusive and high-quality coaching to children across all ages, genders, and ability levels
Ensure each coaching session is delivered in line with the Western Sydney Wanderers FC coaching curriculum standards
Coach across a variety of Western Sydney Wanderers community programs, including schools, pre-academy development training, and our after school club programs
To create a supportive environment where participants can improve their skills and enjoy football
Strong knowledge of football and coaching
Essential requirements
Valid Working with Children Check - Employment
Relevant Coaching Accreditation - Foundation of Football or higher preferred
Must have own vehicle and willing to travel within the Western Sydney region
Previous experience in coaching children within sport/education is preferred
Must be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends and school holidays. Shifts will be provided on a rostered basis and in some instances ad hoc
Provisional license/full license
Sydney Catholic Schools and Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese training verification provided and required
Minimum three months of coaching experience
