 ACPE will be working closely with Sideline Sport www.sidelinesport.tv  to provide opportunities for students in sport media and broadcasting. Take advantage and grab the first of these opportunities,  outlined below:

Sideline Sport are looking for volunteers to gain hands on experience as Netball Live Stream Operators (netball knowledge not required) at a Netball competition on the Olympic Park.

 What:

 Netball Operator Task List

Pre-Game Setup:

• Arrive early and set up the camera on a tripod, ensuring it's stable and level.
• Connect all cables and connections (power, video feed, etc).
• Check in with Master Control Room (MCR) that they are ready to go

 During the Game:

• Follow the ball: This is the primary objective. Keep the action centered in the frame.
• Score and Manage Time App: Capture goals, start and end quarters etc.
• Vary shot composition: potentially zoom in from wide shots to tight shots to capture a specific player or a shot on goal.
• Respond to the MCR comms: Respond quickly to instructions, such as "tighten up," "widen out," or "get a shot of the coach."

 When and Where:

 Date: Saturday 11^th & Sunday 12^th October

• Location: Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park

• Time:

• Saturday: ~9.00am – 4.00pm

• Sunday: ~8:30am - 3.00pm
