Bop till you Drop is a leading mobile entertainment company dedicated to delivering exceptional entertainment at children’s parties, school discos/holiday programs and events. Our mission is to create lasting memories for children while providing a stress-free, enjoyable experience for parents.
Position Title: Children’s Party Entertainer – Actor/Dancer/Singer
Employment Type: Casual, Paid
Hours: Mostly Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays (flexible hours based on availability)
Pay: $150–$190 per 2-hour event (plus superannuation, travel allowance, and performance bonuses)
Organisation Address: Various locations across Central Coast and Newcastle – We are a mobile service.
Role Description:
As a Bop Till You Drop entertainer, you’ll be the star of the show, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and fun to every event!
Your role will include:
- Hosting and leading a variety of children's entertainment activities, including disco dancing, games, slime making, science experiments, and craft parties.
- Engaging and interacting with children in a confident, friendly, and professional manner.
- Setting up and packing down basic equipment for each booking.
- Managing party timelines and transitions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both children and parents.
- No two events are the same, so you'll need to be adaptable, creative, and ready to bring the party to life every time!
- Full training is provided, and you’ll be supported by a fantastic team along the way.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- A car and valid driver’s licence (for transporting party equipment)
- Working with Children’s Check (or happy to apply for one)
- Passion for working with children
- Confidence and enthusiasm when performing
- Reliable and punctual with great communication skills
Desirable:
- Background in performing arts (dance, acting, or singing)
- Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, etc.)
