About Football St George Football St George (FSG) is the local governing body for football in the St George district representing 22 member Clubs across the Georges River and Bayside Council LGAs.

Interest and participation in football continues to grow strongly in our region and we are seeking to drive to parity of participation (boys and girls) and ensure talented footballers have tremendous opportunities to achieve success, to develop their skills and build on their enjoyment of the game.
GJDL GJDL offers a development opportunity and outcome that will increase the skill level of girls entering the talented player pathway competitions. The goal of the program was to offer young girls an enhanced football environment, above that provided in community football that prepares them for the technical and tactical challenges of FNSW Elite Programs and Competitions, such as the National Premier Leagues or Women’s Premier League. GJDL licensees were granted to Football Associations and Clubs that met minimum standards including facilities, coaching, and committed to a football philosophy consistent with the FFA National Curriculum and FFA and FNSW goals and objectives. GJDL incorporated age grades of U10, U11, U12 and U13.
Head Coach for GJDL Teams To support our pathway objectives, FSG are now seeking an expression of interest from motivated and experienced coaches for the GJDL U10, U11, U12 & U13’s teams which participate in Football NSW competitions. This coaching role is a paid position. Ideally, the coach will currently have or is in the process of obtaining their FA C-Diploma coaching qualification. All coaches will report to the FSG Technical Director.
Training & Match Days Typically, training is scheduled 1-2 days per week with matchdays every second week on a Saturday. The 2025 season commences in early-March with the GJDL draw to be made available for the successful candidate. Training will commence late January with trial games to be scheduled for early February.
