URBNSURF is currently looking for casual surf coaches this Spring / Summer - no surf experience is required. You will play a key role in helping our guests catch their first waves, improve their skills, and create unforgettable memories. You'll work in a fun, dynamic, and positive environment, best job in the world? maybe!
Qualifications: None are required to interview for the position, however, to be placed on our roster you require the following: Surfing NSW Foundation coach*, Working with Children certificate and first-aid/CPR certificate & ocean safety certificte.
*URBNSURF Sydney would like to offer ACPE students 50% off their Surfing NSW Foundation Coach certification and the ability to get their 20 hours signed off during onsite training shifts.
Experience: Must be a competent swimmer, high level communicator and an interest in water sports is highly desirable.
The Surf Academy Coaches are responsible for delivering exceptional lessons for both group and private bookings. They are responsible for ensuring guest safety by utilising preventative and management strategies within the NSW State Guidelines.
