NSWIS is seeking several suitable candidates for a 12-month placement opportunity to work within the NSWIS Sport Science department specific to the Physiology (n=1), Biomechanics (n=2), Performance Analysis (n=1) or Strength and Conditioning (n=3) teams. Several internship positions are to be recruited for motivated students seeking training, development and gaining applied experience with the NSWIS Sport Science team that will complement their university degree program.
Applicants will be required to nominate a preferred sport science discipline for their tenure; however, opportunities will be provided to gain exposure across the wider sport science department. There will also be an opening where appropriate for an additional 12-month extension for 1-2 x students to complete a specified project (e.g. an embedded Honours or Masters research project).
