LFC International Academy is the global youth coaching arm of LFC. As an official partner of the Club, the Liverpool Football Club International Academy Australia delivers programs which bring together the proven football education methodology and philosophy of the world-famous Liverpool Football Club with the facilities, expertise, and teaching resources of the renowned Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE). 

ACPE is combining its sports teaching expertise and resources with the proven football development methodology and philosophy of Liverpool Football Club (the club) to create a partnership that will deliver a range of youth coaching and academy programs.

Role:

Working with the Liverpool FC International Academy AUS (LFCIA AUS) Head of Football Operations (HOFO), Head of Partnerships (HP) and the Technical Director (TD), you will support the effective delivery of programs through effective coordination and execution of office administration, customer communications and service provider/supplier relations.

You will work with LFCIA AUS team and ACPE to promote all programs including community and school engagement, helping to drive engagement with both the football program and ACPE more broadly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of the LFC IA AUS program in line with LFC’s specifications along with the goals, purpose, and values of both LFCIA and ACPE.
  • Manage timely, actioning of all incoming general inquiries and correspondence (helpdesk, email, phone) and deal with issues raised from various customers, staff and suppliers using judgement and referring to relevant senior staff when required.
  • Coordination of day-to-day office administration duties including managing helpdesk and providing customer support. 
  • Assist in managing social media channels to promote and support delivery of LFCIA programs.
  • Assist in effective communications ensuring messages are delivered in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Content management and updating the LFCIA website. 
  • CMS management and record keeping using our Funnel CMS System.
  • Coordinate completion and lodgement of time sheets of casual staff working in the programs to Payroll.
  • Assist in orientation of new staff and volunteers and liaise with ACPE HR in the collection and completion of new hire documents.
  • Assist with marketing and promotion of existing and upcoming programs.
  • Assist in the collation of data and preparation of reports as required.
  • Assist HOFO and/Technical Director in onsite management of events as required.
  • General administrative duties required by the team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A strong grounding in Office Administration. 
  • Demonstrated experience in customer relationship management. 
  • Demonstrated experience in data base and accounts management.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Google Drive, Microsoft Office, XERO.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.

Desirable

  • Experience in and/or an understanding of professional sports management/administration. 
  • Experience in marketing, promotion, and brand direction.

Attributes:

  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of people including children and parents.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Responsible team player.
