ABOUT THE ROLE

Through a targeted approach, continue to develop the game of Australian Rules through the implementation and execution of AFL programs to gain maximum participation levels at AFL Auskick, Schools, Alternate Products and any innovative new offerings. Through best-in-class delivery, ensure the high-quality customer experience across all football and fan engagement programs. 

This is a max term role until March 2024 working in the Paramatta region.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Key Accountabilities:

• Drive AFL program bookings to achieve aspirational AFL growth targets in Metropolitan Sydney
• Deliver a variety of AFL participation programs across the three major participation portfolios, Auskick, School and Alternate Formats
• Ensure each program is delivered in line with the AFL standards and guidelines to provide an exceptional participant experience
• Lead and support a local Development Officer network to deliver programs in line with broader AFL objectives and values
• Drive strong transition outcomes through programs to support community club and further AFL program growth
• Liaise with teachers, schools and other strategically important local stakeholders 
• Support junior clubs and Auskick centre growth, in relation to localised player recruitment and retention initiatives
• Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role  
• Support and contribute to the success of the broader team
