This role will organise, develop and maintain sports program attendance, including planning for term and holiday activities. With a strong focus on school holiday programs, birthday parties and after school activities and school sports, you’ll work closely with our Club Managers to assist them in delivering of compliant and engaging activities across the state.
This will include:
• Providing support to increase participation in program and activity attendance such as identifying and reporting on trends in participation, making valuable recommendations on how to improve
• Assisting with marketing, sales and performance of school holiday activities
• Assisting to identify financial, people and equipment resource requirements for activities
• Implementing best practice strategies for school sport participation
• Assisting to identify, develop and implement opportunities to generate additional membership and revenue in the activity space
• Supporting the planning, delivery and reporting of grant funded activities in partnership with Government departments
• Managing the Active and Creative Kids voucher account
• Ensuring all activities are implemented and managed in accordance with contractual and legislative requirements
• Ensuring best practice safety, quality of programs and sustainability are achieved
• Communicating and advocating for strategies and initiatives to address the needs within a clubs community
• Creating and maintaining relationships with schools, members, suppliers, industry associations and government agencies
About You:
• Are you an autonomous worker?
• Do you have excellent communication and relationship building skills?
• Are you passionate for engaging youth in sport, education, leadership and cultural programs?
• Do you have grassroots coaching experience?
• Do you have tertiary qualifications in Sport / Sport Science (highly regarded)?
• Do you have flexibility to travel occasionally to events and tournaments at PCYC NSW Clubs?
