Working closely with the Senior Manager, Membership & Foundation, the primary focus of the Membership Coordinator is to assist with driving membership acquisition and retention, whilst also ensuring the long-term satisfaction and engagement with all members and fans. Working in a fast-paced team environment, this role will assist in delivering the annual membership campaign across the season, assist with game day and member events and opportunities, and take the lead in the daily inbound/outbound communications (phone and email) between the Club and its members and fans. The role will also take on some key office administration tasks as required.
Working in a highly focused team environment, this diverse role will suit a driven, proactive and passionate self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the wider team structure is key; you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and work hands-on as required.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable making high levels of phone calls and have proven experience in a customer service focussed role, ideally within a sport or related membership based organisation.Whilst an understanding of rugby league and the ability to "talk footy" would be beneficial, a friendly, professional and confident, client focused approach is a must, as is the ability to engage with people across a wide-ranging demographic.
