Salary: $55, 000 per annum plus super (dependent upon applicants skills/experience)
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager Pathways & Community and the Coordinator Pathways, the core purpose of this role is to provide administrative support in the logistical, planning, resource and communication elements of State Teams and Pathway Development Squads activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Answer enquiries about State Teams and Pathway Development Squads activities, Indoor, Country and Masters State Teams programs
- Administration of State Teams and Pathway Development Squad activities logistics for Outdoor, Indoor, Country including facility hire, travel, accommodation, ground transport, meals, credit card access, equipment etc.
- Proactively communicate plans and any changes to these plans for State Teams and Pathway Development Squads activities
- Update and populate templates for consistent Campaign Planning
- Book workshops and presenters for personnel involved with State Teams and Pathway Development Squads activities
- Coordinate uniform logistics for State Teams and Pathway Development Squads activities
- Assist with the approval systems, website updates, social and media releases about athlete, coach, selector and manager appointments and good news stories
- Update and share information about Athlete sponsorships
Experience, Skills and Attributes
- Tertiary qualification (or working towards) in Sport Management or Event Management is highly advantageous
- Previous administration experience, within a sporting body/club is highly advantageous
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills gained from previous work experience or community involvement
- Able to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel including sporting databases and learning platforms and google classroom.
