The role is responsible to lead a Sports and Recreation Services Team to manage and optimise the use of Council’s sporting, recreation and community facilities in the Bayside LGA that align with our community needs and interests. The role will also work with property services and other key stakeholders in managing relationships and deliverables with service providers of sport, recreation and aquatic facilities under contract, license and/or lease arrangements.

If you enjoy leading and motivating a team, possess exceptional communication and engagement skills and are experienced in coordinating a diverse range of sport, recreation and community facilities then this is the job for you.

Essential Requirements 

• Tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the role. 
• Current First Aid certificate relevant to the role. 
• Working with Children Check (NSW). 
• Current Driver’s Licence Class C.
