As a Program Officer, you will work as part of a team, in a positive and enjoyable environment, planning and delivering outdoor sport and recreation programs to school, community and sporting clients.
This role is rostered over 7 days including weeknights and weekends as required.
Programs are run all year round, including weekend and school holiday periods. Some programs are residential, there will be times where Program Officers may be required to reside overnight.
Designing and facilitating outdoor Sport and Recreation programs that challenge clients in a range of activities and experiences.
Programs will assist in developing leadership and physical skills, along with building friendships and resilience.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary Qualification or Certificate 4 in Outdoor Recreation (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience
Be willing to undertake on-call responsibilities on a rostered basis during residential program
First Aid Certificate (ACPE holds training at a reduced cost, book here)
The successful applicant will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check
