Baseball Australia - Administration and Projects Coordinator

The Baseball Australia Administration and Projects Co-ordinator will report directly to the CEO working across a broad range of organisational activity in a challenging and fast paced environment.
As a member of the Baseball Australia team your primary purpose is to provide support to the CEO ensuring he is able to prioritise the key organisational objectives. You will work across a wide variety of tasks, from basic administration support, Board paper preparation, project management and communication.
This role is targeted towards a sports administrator who is energetic, has a growth mindset and strong project management skills and is willing to take on the challenge of working across multiple functions in an ever changing environment.
While the role has a large administrative component, you will be exposed to all aspects of the organisation and be provided with the opportunity to develop as a sports administrator as your skills and experience develops.
Key Deliverables
To contribute to the success of Baseball Australia, the Administration and Projects Co-ordinator will:
Strategy
-
Collaborate effectively with people at all levels including staff, Board and other key stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational outcomes, and

Support the CEO to ensure he is able to prioritise the strategic priorities set by the Board

Provide support to the BA Board Subcommittees and the relevant projects being undertaken by each committee and Baseball Australia as a whole
Administration
-
Manage the preparation of reports and other correspondence, both for internal and external communication,
-
Develop and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy to communicate with key internal and external stakeholders,

Document management for the CEO, Board and Board Subcommittees

Full diary management – plan out day, set reminders, prevent clashes, advise of upcoming events/meetings and prepare appropriate materials,

Travel management for CEO and Board, and key stakeholders, when necessary,

Plan conferences and Board Meetings – venue, flights, catering, accommodation, meeting papers, invitations, attendance and Minutes.
Projects
-
Management of ad hoc problem-solving tasks as required,

Research projects and work to assist the CEO regarding the success of the strategic plan,

Management of projects undertaken by BA Board Sub-Committees, and Other ad hoc duties and administration tasks requested by CEO.
