Position: Primary School / PE Teacher

We are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic PE / Primary teachers to run our PDHPE programs (i.e. Athletics, FMS, and Ball Skills) at Primary schools in Sydney Region from Term 1, 2022 onwards. All lesson plans, uniform and equipment, friendly support, and staff training provided. Work independently and as part of our team.

As a company, we run all parts of the PDHPE curriculum including the development of curriculum, in-class PDH classes, such as Athletics, FMS and Ball Skills, Dance, Gymnastics, and wellbeing programs for primary schools.

Successful applicants generally work 3 to 5 days a week, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and will be responsible for program delivery and assessment of the children each term. The programs and assessment criteria are provided.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree

Essential criteria:

• DET number

• NESA Accreditation (Some positions require only NESA)

• At least 1 year of previous PDHPE teaching experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Eligibility to work in Australia

• Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Fun, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.

Applicants must have completed mandatory training:

• anaphylaxis e-learning

• e-Emergency Care training

• child protection awareness training

• Mandatory Annual Child Protection Training 2021

• Work Health and Safety (WHS) Induction for Employees

Preferred Experience:(not essential)

• Gymnastics/Athletics/FMS/Ball Skills teaching experience: at least 1 year

• Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation in Gymnastics and Athletics particularly.

• Driver Licence and own transport

Job Type: Casual

Salary: From $350.00 per day
