International Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) intern - Memberships and Events (site visits, education, and networking)

Vision: Establish an IAKS Australian/New Zealand (ANZ) subcommittee

Mission: Give ANZ a voice on the global sort and leisure platform including infrastructure and services

Goals:

• Increase membership by 40% to 80 members by Jan 2022.
• Increase promotion of ANZ best practice through architectural, engineering and operations.
• Establish ANZ subcommittee by January 2022
• Establish ANZ tour group 2023 Cologne IAKs
• Provide opportunities for ANZ members to participate in IAKs expert circles and discussions.

Increase memberships:

• Use current data base and expand contacts for architectural companies, peak bodies, planners, engineers, and operators.
• Private school’s property developers through ANZ
• Use EDMs, cold calling and emails for target market
• Promote current members and showcase their current work. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
• Establish membership ANZ IAKs group for communication and discussions
• Develop monthly newsletter.

Events:

• Establish calendar of events
• Suitable site visits showcasing. Show case developments in sports fields, stadiums, aquatic leisure and open space.
• Establish partnerships with universities and other peak associations such as ALFAQ and ARI
• Press releases
• Social Media
• Sponsorship for events
• Partnerships for events
• Event management - operational
