NSW Ice Skating Association Inc. (NSWISA) is the peak body for figure skating in NSW and represents the largest share of figure skaters in Australia. Members range from beginners to Winter Olympians.
The Association is seeking a new Events and Membership Coordinator, to take responsibility for membership, and our full calendar of events, including competitions, tests and training days.
Position: Events and Membership Coordinator
The position will report to NSWISA’s Executive Officer, and will also liaise with our nine member clubs, judges and other officials. There will also be some engagement with our national Association, Ice Skating Australia, as well as international associations when they participate in our competitions.
The successful candidate will:
have strong attention to detail, and will be comfortable with management of extensive data.
Experience with membership and competition databases would be a significant advantage.
Beyond this, the need to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders requires:
exceptional interpersonal skills.
An interest in sport, from either a participation or administration perspective, would be a positive.
