Water Polo New South Wales, is the recognised State Sporting Organisation of Water Polo in NSW. WPNSW holds the largest member base in Australia, boasts a broad base of events and services, and is constantly evolving and growing with contemporary Australian Sport industry trends.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Water Polo NSW is offering an internship position within the Sports Development department. The successful applicant will assist with the operations and logistics of the WPNSW State Team Program.
LOCATION:
Sydney Olympic Park, NSW
CONTACT TIME:
2 days per week administration (TBC)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with the Events and Sport Development Managers in project organisation and preparation
Communicate directly with athletes/parents to ensure success of WPNSW academy programs
Liaise with stakeholders (coaches/officials/pools)
Contribute to development camp timelines and programming
Assist with production of content for WPNSW social media platforms (images, videos, written)
Project reporting specifically post event (i.e. conclusion of Term academy programs)
Assist with delivery of events such as WPNSW State Festival
REQUIREMENTS:
Studying bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or relevant field
