Water Polo New South Wales, is the recognised State Sporting Organisation of Water Polo in NSW. WPNSW holds the largest member base in Australia, boasts a broad base of events and services, and is constantly evolving and growing with contemporary Australian Sport industry trends.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Water Polo NSW is offering an internship position in an Event Management capacity. The successful applicant will work under the WPNSW Events Coordinator and will be responsible for events administration preparation, events coordination and events support.
LOCATION:
Sydney Olympic Park, NSW
CONTACT TIME:
2 days per week administration
Availability to attend WPNSW State Club Championships 2022, Junior Country Clubs, Under 12s Fest
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with the Events and Sport Development Managers in project organisation and preparation
Liaise with event stakeholders (athletes/coaches/officials/strategic partners)
General administration surrounding events
Contribute to events delivery
Assist with production of content for WPNSW social media platforms (images, videos, written)
Project reporting specifically post events
REQUIREMENTS:
Studying bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications or relevant field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Ability to multitask and meet event deadlines
Capability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
