Articles

Stralis

Instead of an article to read, I will try including here a link to the recording of our October TechTalk from Stralis, who are developing a hydrogen aircraft propulsion system using a Bonanza as a testbed.

Here are links to the slide presentation deck and also to the recording of the presentation and discussion (only for sharing within the ABS) - Stralis TechTalk

More improtantly, especially for members near SE Queensland, the Stralis team have expressed interest in experiencing the capabilities of Beechcraft aircraft firsthand. Most of the group have never flown in a Bonanza, or even a light aircraft.  We are looking for ~4 aircraft for a demo flight out of Archerfield airport sometime in late Nov or Dec, exact date TBD. If you would be interested in showcasing your aircraft, please reach out to your Treasurer and QLD Committee Member, Nick Lindsay (nblindsay@gmail.com).  It's another way to promote our brand and our type-group to the broader aviation community.
