Bio
Thank you for considering me as your coach. I am a World Athletics and Athletics Australia accredited level 3 coach, specialising in middle-long distance track events (incl. steeplechase), road distances (5km,10km, HM, M) and cross country. I coach principally through Byron Bay Runners, with squad sessions Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in Byron Bay. I can also offer online programs (for a monthly fee), with supporting video/teleconference calls (please email me for further details: carolinejbailey@rocketmail.com). I'm currently coaching a range of athletes from primary competitive (10-13yrs), secondary competitive (13-17yrs) and open/masters age athletes, from recreational athletes to runners competing at state and national level. In my fifteen years of coaching, to date I have coached two athletes to become national champions, one to qualification for Junior World Championships (and many to medals at state level in sprints, middle distance including steeplechase and cross-country). In 2022 I was an ANSW Targeted Talent Program Event Coach for Distance Runners, and selected onto AA's 'Women in High Performance Coaching' two year development program. In 2023 I was appointed Australian U23 Team Coach (European tour). I am also an AHPRA and Medicare registered Psychologist with a PhD in Performance Management. I have over twenty years experience helping people achieve their potential, both professionally and in sport, through enhanced goal setting, mental toughness, anxiety management and all the other mental aspects that make a strong athlete. Please send me an email, to talk more about how I could help you achieve your goals: carolinejbailey@rocketmail.com
