Event information

This event has passed.

Join Vanessa Johnson on a training ride around selected sectors of the SeVen course, plus some bonus 'local knowledge' segments. The ride will vary week-to-week depending on course condition, but expect about 80km & 2000VM.

We will aim for endurance race pace with limited regroups. Depending on the group we may roll Grinduro style (hard on selected segments, cruise between), or split according to ability. Ride time is expected to be 4-4.5 hours. Routes & final details will be confirmed Friday evening.

Be prepared to be self-sufficient. We will be riding in remote country, and help may be a long way off.

BRING:

  • roadworthy bike suitable for riding on gravel
  • Australian Standards approved helmet (or equivalent)
  • mobile with Telstra network coverage or a satellite communications device (e.g. Garmin Inreach)
  • Emergency+ App loaded on your mobile. The Experience Nannup app is also good for offline maps if you find yourself of course.
  • route map loaded to your preferred device (Garmin, Wahoo, etc).
  • all spares (tube, puncture repair kit, CO2)
  • hydration and nutrition to last the distance. There is no water on the route.
  • any medication you might require
