Metro Softball is nothing without the support of its Club Crew.
From coaching to managing, cleaning to ground keeping - many hands are required to keep a free flowing and growing club. Every week there is a schedule of tasks to be completed and we love having new faces around to help us out. We are looking for help in the following areas in the 2020-2021 season:
GROUND KEEPERS
To assist with weekly maintenance of the playing diamonds, outfield surfaces and fences. Training provided.

UMPIRES
To officiate junior and senior games. The Auckland Softball Association runs an 'Orange Shirt' umpire training programme which not only ensures budding umpires (and parents) know the rules, but also receive compensation for their time spent at games. Training, uniform and equipment provided.

TEAM COACHES & MANAGERS
Our Tee-Ball and Junior teams are looking for parents and family friends to step up and coordinate players and lead team training sessions.
A club system already exists and training will be provided - including coach training nights, manuals and 'coach buddies'.
